Over de functie

Sopra Steria is looking for a Key Account Manager to identify and develop business opportunities with clients in the Netherlands and ESA/ESTEC. You will build long-term relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and collaborate with the Pre-sales team to prepare offers and proposals.

Wat ga je doen

  • Identify business opportunities with existing and new clients in the Netherlands and ESA/ESTEC
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Identify potential partners to optimize positioning in the Netherlands and for transnational opportunities
  • Develop, manage and maintain a robust pipeline of sales leads
  • Become fully conversant in and able to demonstrate CS products
  • Manage preparation of offers and proposals in liaison with Pre-sales team

Wat je meebrengt

  • At least 5 years experience in technology related sales or business development in the Space industry or equivalent engineering industry in an international environment
  • Strong understanding of ESA/ESTEC's organisational landscape, programmes, procurement processes, and technical domains
  • Strong customer network within the Netherlands space industry
  • Strong interpersonal and commercial skills to interact, develop relationships and negotiate with customers at all levels
  • Fluency in both English and Dutch
  • No impediments to obtaining security clearance and willingness to do so
