Riverflex is looking for an interim data engineer to lead the migration of a data platform from Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric. You will own the roadmap for performance, cost, data quality, and monitoring, while building scalable pipelines and coaching data engineers.

Migrate data platform from Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric
Own roadmap priorities for performance, cost, data quality, and monitoring
Build and maintain scalable pipelines and PySpark notebooks
Design dimensional data models and ingest data from complex sources
Implement data quality framework and CI/CD pipelines
Coach data engineers and lead agile squad activities

Wat je meebrengt

7+ years as a data engineer with Azure data platform experience
5+ years of dimensional data modelling, SQL, and PySpark
Experience with lakehouse architecture and medallion principles
Track record in complex environments with multiple source systems
Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD
Fluent Dutch and strong English

Mooi meegenomen

Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors data
Hands-on Synapse-to-Fabric migration experience
Experience coaching or leading data engineers on a new platform
