Vitestro is looking for a Medior C++ Software Engineer to take ownership of software components in hardware-integrated systems. The role involves designing and improving robust C++ software in a collaborative, high-skilled team based in Utrecht.
Wat ga je doen
- Take ownership of software components in hardware-integrated systems
- Design, implement, and improve robust C++ software interacting with multiple subsystems and real-time environments
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and other software developers
- Contribute to debugging, automated testing, and code reviews
- Solve complex integration issues from production and field
- Contribute to system-level design discussions and technical decisions
Wat je meebrengt
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 4–7 years of professional C++ development experience
- Experience designing and maintaining production-level software systems
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20)
- Experience with automated testing and Linux environments
- Strong debugging skills and proficiency with Git
Mooi meegenomen
- Experience designing and implementing state machines
- Experience with hardware–software integration
- Familiarity with DDS or similar pub/sub frameworks
- Experience with real-time or near real-time systems
- Python scripting experience
- Exposure to robotics or industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, CANopen)
