LeydenJar Technologies is seeking a Material Scientist to join their team in Eindhoven. In this role, you will design and run experiments to improve silicon anode performance and establish characterization methods for silicon anode products.

- Establish characterization methods for silicon anode products
- Correlate thin-film properties with battery performance
- Develop product and process characterization for quality control
- Explore new materials and modifications for performance targets
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners
Wat je meebrengt
- PhD in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field specializing in nano-structured materials
- 1-3+ years of experience in material characterization in research, thin-film, semiconductor, or battery environment
- Hands-on experience with instrumental analysis
- Deep knowledge of thin films, material characterization, and thin-film mechanics
- Track record of independently owning development topics from idea to conclusion
- Fluent in English
Mooi meegenomen
- Thin film metrology development experience
- In-depth knowledge of PECVD processing or lithium-ion battery technology
- Experience in anode manufacturing or roll-to-roll production
- Experience with process modelling, simulation, or statistical design of experiments
- Record of patents or peer-reviewed publications
- Experience with external collaborations and supervising students or junior colleagues
