Nielen Schuman is an independent corporate finance boutique in Amsterdam. As Associate Director M&A, you will lead complex transactions and support clients across sell side, buy side, and strategic situations.
What you will do
- Support clients in sell side, buy side, strategic, public-to-private, and capital raising situations
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities and interact with clients, buyers, and advisors
- Oversee business and market analyses, financial and valuation models, and bidder analyses
- Manage preparation of client presentations, teasers, information memoranda, and management presentations
- Coordinate project deliverables, due diligence, information requests, and timelines
- Participate in origination meetings, strategic dialogues, negotiations, and mentor junior team members
What you bring
- Master’s degree
- 5-9 years of experience in corporate finance or investment banking, preferably in M&A
- Native Dutch and strong command of written and verbal English
- Excellent analytical, project management, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative mentality, and drive to succeed
- Strong command of valuation methodologies, accounting principles, and Excel modelling
