About the job
Verifone is seeking a Compliance Director for Europe to lead and build the compliance function across the region. This role ensures regulatory adherence for all regulated entities and acts as the appointed MLRO for DNB and FCA.
What you will do
- Ensure regulatory compliance for all regulated entities
- Be the appointed MLRO for DNB and FCA
- Provide advice on regulatory items
- Build and lead the compliance function
- Provide second-line compliance oversight
- Support the Group compliance uplift program
What you bring
- 8–10 years of experience in financial compliance
- Experience with regulated payment services and acquiring
- Working knowledge of Dutch (DNB) and UK (FCA) regulatory regimes
- Experience building and leading a multi-jurisdiction compliance team
- Governance and strategic expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in law or compliance
Nice to have
- Relevant professional certification (e.g. CAMS, ICA)
