Verifone is looking for a Director of First Line Operations to lead onboarding, re-underwriting, fraud, and AML transaction monitoring across four payment entities. You will set consistent standards, own KPIs, and drive automation in a hybrid working environment based in Amsterdam.
What you will do
- Manage first line activities for onboarding, re-underwriting, fraud and AML transaction monitoring across four payment entities
- Set consistent operating model, standards and performance expectations
- Own KPIs, SLAs and quality metrics
- Identify and remediate process gaps
- Strengthen first line control environment
- Define and deliver automation roadmap
What you bring
- 5+ years in payments/fintech operations, risk or financial crime
- Substantial time in first line leadership roles
- Deep knowledge of merchant onboarding, KYC, CDD, KYB, re-underwriting, fraud monitoring and AML transaction monitoring
- Understanding of corporate structures, UBO analysis and foreign ownership models
- Track record of identifying and mitigating process gaps
- Experience automating onboarding, monitoring and case management
