Optics11 is looking for a High Voltage Field Application Engineer to support sales teams and manage technical discussions. You will plan and execute site visits, installations, and commissioning, while preparing technical reports and delivering customer training.
What you will do
- Support sales teams in customer meetings and technical discussions
- Plan and execute site visits, installations, and commissioning
- Prepare technical reports from field measurements
- Deliver customer training on system operation and data analysis
- Contribute to application notes and technical documentation
- Provide field feedback to improve products and processes
What you bring
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 3–6+ years experience in electrical systems, applications, or diagnostics
- Strong problem-solving skills in field environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Customer-oriented mindset and professional attitude
- Willingness to travel internationally about 30% of the time
Nice to have
- Understanding of Partial Discharge theory or condition monitoring
- Experience with high-voltage equipment or substations
- Practical experience with PD testing and data interpretation
- Experience with fibre optic sensing or predictive maintenance
