About the job

Optics11, a deep-tech scale-up in Amsterdam, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize processes for high-precision products. You will collaborate with R&D, design, and quality teams to bring prototypes to scale.

What you will do

Design and optimize manufacturing processes for high-precision products
Collaborate with R&D, design, and quality teams to scale prototypes
Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials
Define tooling, fixtures, and production equipment
Perform process capability analysis and root-cause analysis
Support manufacturing trials, pilot builds, and production ramp-up

What you bring

Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering
3+ years’ experience in manufacturing engineering in deep tech, semiconductor, or similar
Understanding of process development and scale-up methodologies
Hands-on experience with assembly and manufacturing technologies
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
Strong communication skills in English

Nice to have

Dutch language skills
