UNS in Amsterdam is looking for a Model Making Intern to join their team for an internship starting in January or February 2027. The role involves constructing architectural models and supporting design teams with physical representations of concepts. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in a professional, international environment.
What you will do
- Constructing architectural models at various scales using different materials and techniques
- Experimenting with materials and fabrication methods
- Supporting design teams by translating concepts into physical representations
- Assisting in 3D printing, laser cutting, and handcrafting detailed model components
What you bring
- Enrolled in a university (preferably Master Program) or higher technical school program for the entire duration of the internship
- Experience in model making with a good sense of materials and craftsmanship
- English fluency (spoken and written)
Nice to have
- Rhino knowledge
- Rendering software knowledge
