About the job
Altura is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for its Integrations team in Amsterdam. You will design and maintain integrations with third-party platforms and external data sources, driving architectural decisions and optimizing system performance.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain integrations with third-party platforms and external data sources
- Drive collaborative architectural and system level design decisions
- Design and develop backend services and APIs
- Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability
- Evolve best practices for CI/CD, observability, security
- Evaluate new technologies to keep the stack innovative
What you bring
- Extensive backend development experience with .NET and C#
- Hands-on experience building web scrapers and third-party integrations
- Strong experience in cloud native applications (Azure preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD
- Agentic software development (e.g., Spec Driven Development) as default approach
- Solid background in SQL databases
- Experience with Domain Driven Design and Clean Architecture
Nice to have
- NoSQL database experience
