Flexport is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join the Corporate Security team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will own and mature the endpoint security stack, manage identity posture, and lead incident response efforts. You will work in a hybrid setup, contributing to a global, fast-growing technology company.
What you will do
- Own and mature endpoint security stack across macOS and Windows
- Manage security configuration and monitoring for critical SaaS applications
- Drive identity posture including SSO, MFA, and SCIM automation
- Build and tune detection rules in SIEM
- Lead incident response for security events
- Run vulnerability assessments and manage vendor security reviews
What you bring
- 5-8 years of experience in enterprise or corporate security engineering
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security tools like DLP and EDR
- Practical SIEM experience with detection logic and alert triage
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to incident response
- Working knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Nice to have
- Experience with network security in a cloud-first environment
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Familiarity with SCIM, OIDC, and fine-grained authorization
- Experience in a high-growth global technology company
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
- Exposure to privacy regulations like GDPR
