Optics11 is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will ensure software quality through various testing types and collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and engineers.

What you will do

Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing
Define test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
Identify, document, and track software defects
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and engineers
Contribute to automated test frameworks and pipelines
Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines

What you bring

Degree in computer science, software engineering, embedded systems, or related field
Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
Experience with both exploratory/manual and automated testing
Experience testing integrated systems
Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools

Nice to have

Experience with AWS or another cloud platform
Experience testing data-driven or signal-processing systems
Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware-software integration
Experience testing unreliable-network and recovery scenarios
Experience in high-tech, industrial, or defense-related environments
Experience with LabVIEW
