About the job

EMW, Inc. is looking for a Principal Technician (ICT Systems) to join their team in Den Haag. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair ICT systems while providing technical support to end-users. You will also configure hardware and software, manage network devices, and ensure data security and system reliability.

  • Configure hardware and software
  • Manage computers and network devices
  • Ensure data security and system reliability
  • Provide 24/7 on-call response for Level 2 support

What you bring

  • Active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Higher vocational training in relevant discipline with 3 years experience, or secondary education with 5 years experience
  • 3 years experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in large organization
  • Experience configuring hardware and software
  • Understanding of ICT systems and independent problem-solving
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and providing technical support

Nice to have

  • Network configuration and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewall, DNS)
  • Cybersecurity infrastructure understanding
  • Software development in Java, C, C++, Python, scripting
  • Hardware and software configuration of server platforms, RAID, redundancy
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills in remote server administration, log analysis, network tools
  • ITIL foundation or advanced certification
