About the job

EMW, Inc. is seeking a Geospatial Data Manager to maintain and manage geospatial datasets, support data ingestion and quality assurance, and perform spatial analysis. This role requires an active NATO SECRET security clearance and is based in Den Haag.

What you will do

  • Maintain and manage geospatial datasets and metadata
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality assurance
  • Develop and maintain geodatabases and spatial data repositories
  • Monitor spatial data integrity, consistency, and version control
  • Coordinate data backups and archival procedures
  • Perform spatial analysis and create maps and visualizations

What you bring

  • Active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Sciences or related field with 2 years experience, or 6 years extensive expertise
  • At least 2 years professional experience in geospatial data management
  • Minimum 2 years experience with ESRI Enterprise SW Suite, especially desktop component
  • Solid understanding of geographic data types, coordinate systems, projections, metadata
  • Experience with vector and raster GI data formats

Nice to have

  • Knowledge and experience working against NATO standards
  • Experience preparing geospatial data for NATO systems
  • Proven experience developing tools using ArcGIS Toolbox and ArcPy
  • Expert level understanding of raster tile creation based on tiling schemas
