EMW, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technician to manage ICT systems in Den Haag. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ICT systems while ensuring data security and system reliability.

What you will do

  • Install, maintain, and repair ICT systems
  • Provide technical support to end-users
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Configure hardware and software
  • Manage computers and network devices
  • Ensure data security and system reliability

What you bring

  • Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance
  • Higher vocational training in relevant discipline with 3 years experience, or secondary education with 5 years experience
  • At least 3 years experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization
  • Good experience configuring hardware and software
  • Good understanding of ICT systems and ability to work independently
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and providing technical support

Nice to have

  • Network configuration and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewall, DNS)
  • Cybersecurity infrastructure understanding
  • Software development in Java, C, C++, Python, or scripting languages
  • Hardware and software configuration of server hosting platforms and storage controllers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for remote server administration and log analysis
  • ITIL foundation or advanced level training and certification
