About the job

EMW, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technician for ICT Systems to join their team in Den Haag. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing ICT systems, providing technical support to end-users, and managing computers and network devices.

What you will do

  • Install, maintain, and repair ICT systems
  • Provide technical support to end-users
  • Configure hardware and software
  • Manage computers and network devices
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Provide 24/7 on-call response for Level 2 support

What you bring

  • Active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Higher vocational training in relevant discipline with 3 years experience, or secondary education with 5 years experience
  • At least 3 years experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization
  • Experience configuring hardware and software
  • Understanding of ICT systems and ability to work independently
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and providing technical support

Nice to have

  • Network configuration and debugging (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewall, DNS)
  • Cybersecurity infrastructure understanding
  • Software development in Java, C, C++, Python, or scripting languages
  • Hardware and software configuration of server platforms, RAID, storage controllers
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills in remote server administration, log analysis, network tools
  • ITIL foundation or advanced certification
