About the job

EMW, Inc. is looking for a Principal Technician to install, maintain, and repair ICT systems and provide technical support. You will work onsite in Den Haag on a full-time basis until the end of 2026.

What you will do

  • Install, maintain, and repair ICT systems
  • Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues
  • Configure hardware and software, manage computers and network devices
  • Ensure data security and system reliability
  • Collaborate with departments to optimize ICT infrastructure
  • Provide 24/7 immediate on-call response with technical AirC2 expertise at Level 2 support

What you bring

  • Currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Higher vocational training in relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience, or secondary education with 5 years experience
  • At least 3 years practical experience in implementation and maintenance of ICT end systems in a large organization
  • Good experience configuring hardware and software
  • Good understanding of ICT systems and ability to work independently
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and providing technical support

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and providing technical support
  • Network configuration and debugging (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewall, DNS)
  • Cybersecurity infrastructure understanding
  • Software development in Java, C, C++, Python, scripting
  • Hardware/software configuration of server platforms, RAID, redundancy
  • ITIL foundation or advanced certification
