About the job

EMW, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technician (ICT Systems) to join their team in Den Haag. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair ICT systems while providing technical support to end-users. You will also manage computers and network devices and provide 24/7 on-call response for Level 2 support.

What you bring

  • Active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • Higher vocational training in relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience, or secondary education with 5 years post-related experience
  • At least 3 years experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization
  • Good experience configuring hardware and software
  • Good understanding of ICT systems and ability to work independently
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and providing technical support

Nice to have

  • Network configuration and debugging (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewall, DNS)
  • Cybersecurity infrastructure understanding
  • Software development in Java, C, C++, Python, or scripting languages
  • Hardware and software configuration of server hosting platforms and RAID
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills in remote server administration, log analysis, and network tools
  • ITIL foundation or advanced training and certification
