About the job

EMW, Inc. is seeking a Principal Technician (ICT Systems) to join their team in Den Haag. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ICT systems, as well as providing technical support to end-users. You will also manage computers and network devices while ensuring data security and system reliability.

What you will do

  • Install, maintain, and repair ICT systems
  • Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues
  • Configure hardware and software
  • Manage computers and network devices
  • Ensure data security and system reliability
  • Provide 24/7 on-call response with Level 2 support for AirC2 systems

What you bring

  • Active NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET security clearance
  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience, or secondary education with 5 years post-related experience
  • At least 3 years practical experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization
  • Good experience configuring hardware and software
  • Good understanding of ICT systems and ability to work independently to solve problems
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues and providing technical support to end-users

Nice to have

  • Network configuration and debugging (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewall, DNS)
  • Cybersecurity infrastructure understanding
  • Software development in Java, C, C++, Python, or scripting languages
  • Hardware and software configuration of server hosting platforms, custom disk configurations, RAID, redundancy management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in remote server administration, log analysis, and network tool usage (Wireshark)
  • ITIL foundation or advanced level training and certification
