About the job
Destinus is seeking a Lead Production Engineer to join their team in Hengelo. In this role, you will lead production engineering activities and drive improvements in manufacturing and assembly processes.
What you will do
- Lead production engineering activities and provide technical direction
- Own and improve manufacturing and assembly processes
- Provide hands-on technical support to production
- Define and maintain production documentation
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements
- Work with Design Engineering to improve manufacturability
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
- Strong experience in production engineering in aerospace, defense, automotive, or complex hardware
- Proven experience supporting and improving manufacturing or assembly operations
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and tooling
- Experience with root cause analysis and process improvement
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
Nice to have
- Dutch language proficiency
