About the job

MAT Research is seeking a Scientist in Immunology and BioTech to join their team in Leiden. You will design and execute experiments, analyze data, and contribute to assay optimization. This is an onsite role focused on advancing immunology research.

What you will do

Design, plan, and execute experiments
Perform immunological, cell-based, and analytical methods
Analyze experimental data and write reports
Maintain accurate experiment records and documentation
Follow internal SOPs, lab safety, and quality requirements
Contribute to assay optimization and troubleshooting

What you bring

PhD in Immunology, Immuno-oncology, Immunotherapy, Cell Biology, or related field
Hands-on experience with PBMC isolations, cellular assays, ELISA, and Flow Cytometry
Strong analytical mindset and data analysis skills
Precision and attention to detail in experimental work
Good scientific writing and reporting skills
Adaptable self-starter with teamwork skills

Nice to have

Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ICH
Familiarity with quality standards (GMP/GLP or ISO:9001)
Fluency in Dutch, German, or French
