About the job

ClickHouse is looking for a Senior Product Security Engineer to strengthen the security of its cloud and open-source database platform. This role focuses on collaborating with engineering teams to embed security into the development lifecycle and improve assurance activities.

What you will do

Collaborate with engineering and product on threat modeling and secure implementation
Identify security gaps and triage vulnerabilities in ClickHouse Cloud and OSS
Improve security assurance activities like pentests and bug bounty programs
Drive implementation of engineering security tools
Nurture engineering-security relationship and improve processes
Handle information security events and incidents

What you bring

Experience supporting engineering and product with threat assessments and assurance
Strong knowledge of cloud providers, Kubernetes, Cilium
Experience with engineering security tools and processes
Significant development and automation experience with C++
Security as code mindset with focus on automation and scale

Nice to have

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
Previous contributions to open source projects
Security or cloud related certifications
