About the job

Clera is an early-stage AI infrastructure startup. As a senior engineer, you will design and build scalable systems for autonomous agents. This is a remote role where you can shape the technical foundation of the platform.

What you will do

Design and implement scalable infrastructure for agent orchestration and execution
Build frameworks and tools for developing, testing, and deploying autonomous agents
Collaborate with product and research teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices
Contribute to technical strategy and long-term platform roadmap

What you bring

8 or more years of professional software engineering experience
Hands-on experience with agentic infrastructure or related distributed systems
Generalist technical background across multiple domains
Strong systems design skills for scale and reliability
Proficiency in modern programming languages and cloud infrastructure
Experience building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platforms
