About the job
Everai is hiring a Mid/Senior AI LLM Engineer for a fully remote role. You will focus on fine-tuning open-weight LLMs and improving model behavior for user-facing products.
What you will do
- Fine-tune open-weight LLMs using SFT, LoRA/QLoRA, DPO, and GRPO
- Diagnose model failures and design experiments
- Build training data and evaluations
- Improve model behavior for personalization, consistency, tone, multilingual, and group interactions
- Ship models to production and iterate based on user behavior
- Speed up the training loop for faster, reproducible experiments
What you bring
- Post-trained open-weight LLMs for a user-facing product and shipped to production
- Worked where AI was core to the product or business
- Fine-tuning is core to your experience
- Strong Python, PyTorch, and Hugging Face with hands-on GPU training and debugging
- Build data and evals yourself and make decisions from evidence
- Comfortable working with uncensored models and explicit NSFW content
Nice to have
- Experience with conversational AI, roleplay products, or highly personalized consumer AI
- Multilingual LLMs
- Moderation, safety, or adversarial testing
- Multimodal models
- Open-source LLM or post-training contributions
