Speechify is looking for a Team Lead for its Android Core Product. In this role, you will own major features end to end, maintain reliability metrics, and help standardize shared code. You will also review pull requests, unblock team members, and shift verification left with automated checks.

What you bring

  • 5+ years software engineering experience
  • Experience leading a team while staying hands-on
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture
  • Experience with background audio or long-running background work
  • Understanding of testing approaches and limitations
  • Strong communication skills

Nice to have

  • Open source Android project contributions
  • Experience with iOS, Web, or NodeJS
