IFS is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their team in 's-Hertogenbosch. In this role, you will work directly with customers to solve complex scheduling problems by building optimization models and iterating on solutions. You will bridge the gap between customer needs and core product development.

Translate customer scheduling problems into optimization models
Configure and debug the scheduling engine with live customer data
Build and iterate solutions with customer teams under tight deadlines
Feed field learnings back to core product and engineering teams

Wat je meebrengt

Strong software engineering background, ideally C#/.NET
Hands-on experience with optimization techniques or algorithm development
Comfortable working directly with customers
Bias toward shipping and iterating quickly under ambiguity
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Mooi meegenomen

Experience with Angular/TypeScript or other modern frontend frameworks
Background in workforce or resource scheduling domains
Experience with large-scale data modelling
Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platforms or vertical-specific optimization products
