Clera is looking for an AI Software Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity. You will build features from specification through production, improve agent-run reliability, and develop evaluations for prompt and model changes.

Build features from specification through production including GitLab support
Improve agent-run reliability with structured outputs and retries
Develop evaluations to measure prompt and model changes
Build context agents need to review and change code in multiple languages
Maintain open-source agent skills and review contributions
Work with customer engineers and Customer Success team

Wat je meebrengt

At least 5 years of software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in TypeScript
Comfort reading and safely changing code in Go, Java, Kotlin, Python, and .NET
Experience measuring language model quality with evaluations or golden sets
Experience building with APIs, webhooks, durable workflows, and Postgres
Ability to communicate through design documents and clear written summaries

Mooi meegenomen

Open-source maintenance or OpenTelemetry instrumentation experience
Experience building agent skills, plugins, or MCP servers
Experience with GitHub App or GitLab integrations
Experience with sandboxed code execution, Cloudflare Workers, or Bun
