An all-round mechanic for C. van Miert
C. van Miert · All-round technician

A production that must not stop
Arno Streng from C.
van Miert, a poultry slaughterhouse, was looking for an all-round mechanic. Someone who is technically skilled, has an affinity for the food industry, and chooses this sector.
A technician in a manufacturing company keeps the machines running. He performs preventive maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions in mechanics, pneumatics, and controls, and contributes ideas for improvements to the production line. When a machine stops, every minute counts. In the food industry, strict hygiene requirements are added. Technicians often choose other industries; a manufacturing company must show what makes the work interesting.
Making maintenance work concrete
For a production mechanic, we concretely show in the campaign which machines he maintains, how malfunctions and preventive maintenance relate, and what kind of shifts he works. A technician then immediately recognizes the trade.
The vacancy appeals to experienced maintenance mechanics, but also to technicians from other industries who want to make the transition. We specify what is already required and what can be developed within the company.
The message contains the things a technician pays attention to: the installations, the ratio between malfunctions and preventive maintenance, the schedule, and the room to think along about improvements.
This is how the campaign fits into our way of working: position and region determine the message and channels, and concrete questions in the application process help discuss alignment with the team, even before the first interview.
