- Map the engineering workflow by analyzing tasks like 3D modelling, technical drawing, BOM generation, cost calculations, requirements, testing, validation, and simulations
- Identify AI opportunities for automating or enhancing mechanical engineering activities and assess their impact
- Research existing AI tools and technologies relevant to mechanical engineering and evaluate their capabilities and limitations
- Define practical use cases for AI based on business and engineering requirements
- Develop proofs of concept to demonstrate how AI could support or automate engineering tasks
- Evaluate feasibility of AI solutions and recommend next steps for integration
