About the job
Fastned is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its Management Board in Amsterdam. This role involves setting long-term financial strategy, managing capital structure, and leading a finance team of 43 professionals.
What you will do
- Set long-term financial goals and evaluate investment opportunities
- Manage capital structure including debt and equity
- Lead finance team of 43 professionals
- Oversee accounting, reporting, funding, investor relations, treasury, sustainability, tax, risk and audit
- Serve as Management Board member with statutory responsibility for financial governance
- Develop equity story and lead earnings calls
What you bring
- Financial leader with RA, CPA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
- Proven CFO or senior finance leadership in listed scale-up or high-growth environment
- Experience driving business towards profitability
- Hands-on with FP&A, financial control, risk management and compliance
- Track record in funding and capital markets
- Experience in building or professionalising a finance function
Nice to have
- Preference for infrastructure, energy, mobility or capital-intensive sector
