Quantware is seeking a Senior Quantum Algorithm Expert to drive the development and validation of quantum computing applications for real-world use cases. Based in Delft, you will lead automation efforts and collaborate closely with hardware and systems engineering teams.

What you will do

Develop and validate quantum computing applications for real-world use cases
Create frameworks for resource estimation of circuit execution
Lead automation of application mapping and resource estimation
Collaborate with hardware and systems engineering teams
Stay updated on quantum algorithms and error correction developments

What you bring

Deep expertise in quantum algorithms and resource estimation
PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
5+ years post-degree research or industry experience in quantum algorithm development and resource estimation
Strong drive to build practical quantum applications
Comfortable taking ownership in a collaborative environment

Nice to have

Expertise in circuit compilation, quantum error correction, and noise modeling
Experience implementing quantum workflows on physical quantum hardware
Affinity with superconducting quantum hardware
