Quantware is seeking an Experimental Quantum Engineer to join its R&D team in Delft. In this role, you will manage cryogenic infrastructure, develop measurement automation, and characterize quantum prototypes.

What you will do

Manage cryogenic infrastructure operation and upgrades
Develop Python-based measurement and automation code
Characterize R&D prototypes and analyze data
Design and execute cryogenic reliability studies
Standardize experiment documentation and reporting

What you bring

MSc in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field
Hands-on experience with cryogenic systems like dilution refrigerators
Background in microwave/RF measurement techniques for superconducting qubits
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and test automation
Experience with Git for version control

Nice to have

PhD in Quantum Computing or Quantum Technology
