About the job

Get E is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their team in Hoofddorp. In this role, you will build new features, integrate with third-party systems, and take ownership of end-to-end delivery. You will work on high-availability SaaS products in a hybrid environment.

What you will do

Building new features and integrations with third-party systems
Owning end to end integration and shipping own work to production
Performing improvements, investigations and bug fixes for system reliability
Creating and maintaining automated tests
Helping to refine user stories and tasks
Maintaining clear and efficient code structure based on best practices and Domain-Driven Design

What you bring

MVP mindset: build, ship, collect feedback, improve
Ability to plan ahead just enough before going into details
Ability to work independently on large scale high availability SaaS products with zero-downtime
3-5 years experience with PHP and/or Java, proficient in one and hands-on with the other
Commercial experience with Laravel and/or SpringBoot, proficient in one and hands-on with the other
Solid experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and understanding of transactions and isolation levels
