About the job
Odyssey Hotel Group is looking for a steward to join their team in Nijmegen. In this role, you will keep the kitchen and dining areas spotless and support the kitchen and F&B teams. It's a great opportunity to work in a dynamic hotel environment with a young team.
What you will do
- Operating dishwashing equipment and cleaning crockery, cutlery, utensils, and glassware
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and storage rooms
- Ensuring kitchen equipment is cleaned, stored, and ready for use
- Assisting with deliveries and organizing stock
- Supporting kitchen and F&B teams with operational tasks
- Following waste disposal, recycling, HACCP, and safety procedures
What you bring
- Experience in stewarding, kitchen, or cleaning is an advantage but not required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
