Typeform is looking for a Director of Accounting & Controlling to lead its accounting and controlling function across multiple entities. In this remote role, you will partner with the VP as a strategic deputy and manage the accounting team.
What you will do
- Lead accounting and controlling function across multiple entities
- Partner with VP as strategic deputy
- Manage and develop accounting team
- Own monthly, quarterly, annual close processes
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure IFRS compliance
- Oversee revenue recognition for subscription and usage-based models
What you bring
- Significant experience leading accounting in high-growth tech or SaaS
- Experience managing accounting teams in fast-paced international business
- Strong technical accounting expertise with deep IFRS knowledge
- Proven experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction accounting
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition for subscription and usage-based models
- Experience overseeing indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Nice to have
- Experience leading accounting in global B2B SaaS company
- Experience with international expansion and cross-border compliance
- Strong knowledge of transfer pricing and international tax
- Big 4 background or equivalent public accounting experience
- Experience implementing or optimizing ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Track record of leading finance transformation or automation projects
