Flosum is looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead a team of 10 full-stack developers. You will drive improvements in developer velocity, compress delivery schedules, and architect end-to-end solutions using Node.js microservices and Salesforce. This is a remote position based in the Netherlands.

What you will do

Lead a team of 10 full-stack developers building Node.js services and Salesforce customizations
Improve developer velocity using DORA metrics
Compress delivery schedules by breaking work into small shippable slices
Architect end-to-end solutions with Node.js microservices and Salesforce
Own solution performance including latency, throughput, scalability, and cost
Establish estimation, sprint, and release discipline

What you bring

10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading teams of 8–20 engineers
Deep hands-on experience with Node.js including Express/Nest, async patterns, performance tuning, microservices
Working knowledge of Salesforce platform: Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, REST/Platform Events, Node.js↔Salesforce integration
Proven technical architect background designing distributed systems, API contracts, data models, and performance-critical solutions
Track record of schedule compression with measurable reduction in cycle time
Strong estimation and planning discipline in Agile/Scrum or Kanban
