About the job

Vio is looking for a manager to lead its dispute operations. This remote role focuses on daily chargeback management, strategy, and team coaching.

What you will do

Run dispute operations daily
Manage volume, workload, and escalations with team and outsourced partners
Review representments and evidence, coach team, set quality bar
Decide to fight, accept, or escalate disputes
Analyze won and lost cases to sharpen strategy
Redesign workflows around automation

What you bring

5+ years hands-on experience in disputes and chargebacks
Deep knowledge of dispute lifecycles, reason codes, evidence requirements, representment strategy
Led a disputes and chargebacks function
Able to find trends, risks, and opportunities in data
Set quality standards and coached people

Nice to have

Experience in travel, hospitality, or marketplaces as merchant of record
Managed outsourced dispute teams
Scaled manual operation with tooling, AI, or automation
Worked with card scheme monitoring programmes and chargeback-ratio thresholds
