About the job

Clera is looking for a Senior Integrations Engineer to design and build backend services for a logistics orchestration and decision-intelligence platform. In this remote role, you will own end-to-end partner data flows and develop predictive systems for OTIF performance.

What you will do

Design and build backend services for a logistics orchestration and decision-intelligence platform
Own end-to-end partner data flows, from multi-vendor ingestion through warehousing and on-call support
Build and maintain production data pipelines for IoT sensor data, partner APIs, webhooks, queues, and carrier integrations
Develop predictive systems for OTIF performance and automate exception-handling workflows
Operate independently and collaborate with leadership to ship high-leverage features

What you bring

10+ years building production data pipelines
5+ years of backend engineering on scalable distributed systems
Hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node.js
Production experience with multi-vendor data ingest, config-driven transforms, partner APIs, and IoT or regulated healthcare data
Solid SQL skills and relational data modeling depth
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ

Nice to have

Strong Java experience
Familiarity with NoSQL databases
Domain knowledge in logistics, cold chain, supply chain, or IoT
Genuine interest in operating at a small, fast-moving Series A team
