Destinus is seeking a Trade Compliance Legal Counsel to join their team in Valkenburg. In this role, you will serve as the internal point of contact for trade compliance matters and act as the primary liaison with Dutch regulatory authorities.

Serve as internal point of contact for trade compliance questions
Serve as prime point of contact with Dutch regulatory authorities
Design, implement, and enhance global compliance framework, policies, and procedures
Lead and oversee compliance activities in the Netherlands and support international operations
Advise senior leadership on regulatory requirements, compliance risks, and mitigation strategies
Establish and maintain compliance monitoring, reporting, and internal controls

Wat je meebrengt

5-10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory, or legal roles
Strong knowledge of Dutch and European regulatory and trade compliance frameworks including export control
Proven ability to design and implement effective compliance programs
Understanding of export control measures for controlled technology in aerospace
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leadership
Fluent in English and Dutch
