Service for the brasserie of Castle Schaloen
Brasserie Kasteel Schaloen · Service

Hospitality at the table
Norman Middelkoop from Brasserie Kasteel Schaloen was looking for service staff.
The wish was for a team that translates the appearance of the castle into hospitality, with quality highly valued.
In the service, the guest experiences the restaurant. An employee welcomes guests, takes orders, advises on dishes and drinks, keeps track of their tables, and coordinates with the kitchen and bar. On a busy evening or a sunny terrace, it all comes down to speed, oversight, and a smile that lasts. Good service staff make the difference between a guest who visits once and a guest who returns.

Making the work in the hall concrete
For service positions, in the campaign we show what a shift looks like: the business, the type of guests, the busyness, and the team. A candidate can thus assess whether the atmosphere and work pace suit them.
The vacancy is aimed at experienced service staff and at people who are hospitable and want to learn the profession. We honestly state which shifts are included and what the team can teach themselves.
The message contains the practical aspects of the work: which shifts, how many hours, working on weekends and public holidays, and how the team supports each other when it gets busy.
The campaign reaches candidates multichannel, also outside the well-known job sites. Each response is assessed on experience, expectations, and availability, so that the employer’s time goes to the right conversations.
