A head chef for the new concept of Woensberg
Brasserie Woensberg · Head Chef

Someone who leads the kitchen
Johan Meijwaard and Gertrin van Lune from Brasserie Woensberg were looking for an experienced chef who could strengthen the new concept, lead the kitchen, and contribute creatively to the character of the brasserie.
A head chef determines how a kitchen runs. He writes the menu, calculates dishes, chooses suppliers, plans the team, and works at the pass himself during service. Whoever fulfills that role well combines taste and creativity with numbers, planning, and leadership. It is precisely that combination that makes good chefs rare. Anyone looking for such a role looks critically at the kitchen, the concept, and the people they will work with.

The kitchen and the menu in view
For a head chef, in the campaign we make it clear which kitchen it is: the concept, the menu, the size of the team, and the freedom to develop their own dishes. A chef wants to know in advance whether they can put their signature on the menu.
The vacancy is aimed at chefs who have already managed a kitchen and at sous chefs who are ready for the next step. We distinguish between what is immediately needed and what the company can offer in guidance itself.
The message includes the things a chef pays attention to: the concept and the menu, the size of the team, the balance between à la carte and groups, and the space to develop their own dishes.
We do not wait for someone to search on a job site themselves: the campaign runs through multiple channels, with the right platform choice for each target group. Responses are followed up based on experience, motivation, and availability, so that the employer speaks with suitable candidates.
