BRI Civil Engineering, founded by Bas Roeten, is an all-round civil engineering company with a team of fifteen people.
The company had difficulty filling vacancies for ground worker, operator, paving contractor, and supervisor, and wanted to quickly find skilled workers to strengthen the team.
In civil engineering, earthworks, paving, and execution follow one another. The machine operator digs out the foundation, the ground worker lays pipes and stakes out, the paver finishes it, and the supervisor keeps planning and quality together. In a team of fifteen, every new colleague counts.
Make the work concrete for each position
For four positions in one company, we do not write a broad story about 'outdoor work.' Each position receives its own message: the paver reads about paving and finishing, the machine operator about the equipment, and the supervisor about responsibility for the project.
According to the file, the approach focused on increasing the inflow of candidates for the open vacancies, with alignment with the function and company as the starting point. For a small team, that means: not just technical knowledge, but also the way of collaborating in the team.
