A chef for restaurant and party center De Pleats
De Pleats · Independent Chef · Burgum

A chef who can run a station independently
The Duursma family from Restaurant & Partycentrum De Pleats in Burgum was looking for a self-sufficient chef.
Someone with culinary skills who fits the warm, sustainable company philosophy and can handle changing events and busy schedules.
A self-sufficient chef runs his station without anyone looking over his shoulder. He prepares the mise-en-place, cooks à la minute during service, keeps the HACCP records, and can also manage the kitchen alone for an evening. Speed, calmness, and consistent quality are just as important as taste.

Showing the work at the stove
For a chef, we make the work tangible in the campaign: what kind of kitchen, which dishes, how the shifts run, and who they work with in the kitchen. A chef immediately recognizes whether the pace and style suit them.
Because De Pleats is both a restaurant and a party center, the campaign shows both sides of the work: à la carte cooking and serving larger groups. The vacancy appeals to experienced chefs, but also to chefs who have just started working independently. We specify what must be in place immediately, such as running a service independently, and what the team can teach.
We do not wait for someone to search for a job on a job site themselves: the campaign runs through multiple channels, with the right platform choice per target group in and around Burgum. Responses are followed up based on experience, motivation, and availability, so that the employer speaks with suitable candidates.
