An animal caretaker for Fokbedrijf Hendriks
Fokbedrijf Hendriks · Animal caretaker pig farm
Animal care with expertise
Fokbedrijf Hendriks was looking for an animal caretaker for the pig farm.
At a breeding farm, the focus is on sows, piglets, and care around farrowing.
An employee in pig farming takes care of the animals from birth to delivery. He checks health and welfare daily, assists with farrowing, carries out piglet and sow care, keeps the stables clean, and records everything accurately. Strict hygiene and attention to each animal are fundamental. The work is physical and requires commitment. Experienced animal caretakers are scarce, and the pig farming industry needs to present itself well as an employer.
Making the work in the barn concrete
For pig farming, in the campaign we make clear how the company is organized, which tasks are central, how the working hours run, and how much independence there is. An animal caretaker can immediately recognize whether it suits them.
The vacancy appeals to experienced pig farmers and animal caretakers, but also to people with an agricultural background who want to work with animals. We specify what is already required and what the company itself teaches.
The message contains the things that an animal caretaker pays attention to: the size and layout of the company, the working hours and weekend shifts, the hygiene rules, and the room to take responsibility.
This is how the campaign fits into our way of working: position and region determine the message and channels, and concrete questions in the application process help discuss alignment with the team, even before the first interview.
