A chef for Hugo’s Pannenkoeken
Hugo’s Pannenkoeken · Independently working chef

A chef who can run a station independently
Hugo van der Velde, owner of Hugo’s Pannenkoeken, was looking for an independently working chef who fits the modern and child-friendly concept, with attention to quality and hospitality.
The chef also had to be deployable at parties and events and handle the busyness at peak moments well.
A self-sufficient chef runs his station without anyone looking over his shoulder. He prepares the mise-en-place, cooks à la minute during service, keeps the HACCP records, and can also manage the kitchen alone for an evening. Speed, calmness, and consistent quality are just as important as taste.

Showing the work at the stove
For a chef, we make the work tangible in the campaign: what kind of kitchen, which dishes, how the shifts run, and who they work with in the kitchen. A chef immediately recognizes whether the pace and style suit them.
The job vacancy appeals to experienced chefs, but also to chefs who have just started working independently. We mention what is immediately required, such as running a service independently, and what the team can teach.
The message contains the things a chef pays attention to: the menu, the size of the kitchen, the number of covers on a busy night, the working hours, and the days off.
Recruitment takes place through multiple channels at the same time, aimed at the position and the region. In the follow-up, experience, expectations, and practical matters, such as working hours and travel distance, are prioritized, so that both sides know what to expect.
