About the job

Workwize is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with new and enterprise clients, understanding their IT environments and turning their requests into production-quality code. This hybrid role in Amsterdam involves collaborating with multiple teams to track impact on client satisfaction and platform usage.

What you will do

  • Work directly with new and enterprise clients to understand their IT environment
  • Turn client requests into clear engineering tickets with success measures
  • Build and ship production-quality code on the product platform
  • Evaluate client requests and propose the simplest effective solution
  • Track impact of work on go-live speed, platform usage, and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Onboarding, Customer Success, Operations, Sales, and Product teams

What you bring

  • Around 4+ years building and shipping software used by real users
  • Full-stack coding skills covering web apps, APIs, and integrations
  • Experience working directly with customers or clients
  • Ability to think in business terms and justify building decisions
  • Proficiency in investigating, prototyping, planning, and shipping with AI tools
  • Fluent English spoken and written

Nice to have

  • Experience at an agency, early-stage startup, or running your own company
  • Experience with enterprise clients and understanding of decision-making in large organizations
  • Experience with IT, device management, or HR and identity tools
