About the job
Airwallex is looking for a Senior Employment Counsel to join their EMEA legal team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will advise on employment issues across the UK and EMEA, partnering closely with the People team and business leaders.
What you will do
- Advise UK and EMEA teams on employment issues
- Partner with People team and business leaders
- Conduct and oversee internal workplace investigations
- Lead employment-related litigation and pre-litigation matters
- Develop and scale employment processes
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments across EMEA
What you bring
- 5–11 years post-qualification experience in UK employment law
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
- Deep expertise in UK employment law
- Experience with sensitive employee relations and investigations
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-growth global business
Nice to have
- Mix of in-house and law firm experience
- Additional qualifications or experience in other EMEA jurisdictions
- Exposure to employment laws across EMEA
- Additional European languages
