Flexport is looking for a Senior Software Engineer: Platform to own and evolve its developer platform in Amsterdam. In this hybrid role, you will create and support CI/CD pipelines, improve developer experience, and steward the GraphQL and gRPC ecosystem.

What you will do

  • Own and evolve the developer platform
  • Create and support CI/CD pipelines and build tooling
  • Improve backend and frontend developer experience
  • Steward GraphQL and gRPC ecosystem
  • Evolve and integrate IAM solutions
  • Ensure engineers can use container orchestration and observability stack

What you bring

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Deep full-stack instincts
  • Strong product instincts for internal users
  • Expertise in CI/CD, container orchestrator, build tooling, backend-for-frontend, service-to-service communication, metrics and artifact storage
  • Takes pride in solving tech debt
  • Independent mindset and excellent communication

Nice to have

  • Experience in data-driven DevX development using DORA metrics
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience in IAM at scale
  • Experience with Terraform
