Flexport is looking for a Software Engineer II to join their Amsterdam team. In this role, you will build systems that manage logistics and cargo movement, working closely with business partners and product managers.

What you will do

Work with business partners and product managers to translate complex business problems into technical solutions
Build systems representing logistics entities and cargo movement processes
Develop and launch products rapidly and incrementally
Design integrations with government agencies and partners
Automate customs filing processes to reduce manual work
Deliver supply chain insights through analytics

What you bring

Over 3 years of software development experience
Strong engineering background
Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
Proactive problem-solving approach
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Aptitude for quick learning
